‘The Funk Jazz Lounge’ radio show is a weekly, 3-hour nationally syndicated Neo-Soul, Hip-Hop and Spoken Word experience. Hosted by, Demas a seasoned veteran of the radio industry.
Featuring Neo-Soul artists such as, Erykah Badu, Maxwell, Jill Scott, Tems, Leon Thomas and more, this is where the show establishes it’s position as “The Groove of Neo-Soul”.
With the sophisticated urban groove setting the tone, Demas then weaves spoken word from exceptional wordsmiths like: The Last Poets, Gil Scot Heron, Saul Williams and (socially) conscious hip-hop from The Roots, Common, Talib Kweli, Rapsody, Kendrick Lamar and others into the mix, which creates a decidedly mature and progressive sound.
